Booked an archery experience through The Activity People, the main attraction being no minimum group size. As it turned out we had a session to ourselves and had so much fun! The instructor was really good – very friendly and tailored the session really well. They also offer axe throwing, shooting and kayaks.
I booked and archery session here for 16 adults and kids for our daughters 30th Birthday. We all had a really great time. They showed what to do and how to keep safe without putting a dampener on our day. They organized little competitions and found time to ensure that even our sight impaired grandson could participate.

Just returned from a great 4-day, weekend stay in one of the 5 ‘Glamping’ pods that overlook the pond on Wall Eden farm. There were 4 of us; two couples, and the pod was snug but very comfy and cosy. It was clean, fresh and well equipped. The owners were very friendly, accommodating and laid back and even sorted us out their own fire pit, fire wood and matches to allow us to have an eveing around the fire! We took out some kayaks and had a go at archery which was well instructed, great fun and gave us plenty of time to get to grips with it!
The highlight was seeing a number of Kingfishers in action on the river and over the pond. Would definately recommend.

Idyllic setting. We stayed in one of the new cabins overlooking the pond. Everything you could want inside the cabin and so peaceful sat outside. Would recommend to any couples getting away for a while, but may be a squeeze with more than 2 adults. Staff were really welcoming and know they’re stuff. You can also buy fresh farm produce there so don’t worry about bringing eggs and sausages with you.
We were lucky enough to spend the day at Wall Eden Farm and enjoy the great activities on offer. My children were given expert and patient lessons in both archery and rifle shooting and then had a decent length of time to test their newly learnt skills.
We had a look round the lodges which were of a very high standard and also got the chance to view the newly built pods which are ideal for a special getaway.
The surrounding area is beautiful with a river and fishing lake close to the lodges and pods. A very welcoming atmosphere and definitely looks like a great place for a holiday.

Thank you to all at Wall Eden Farm! I celebrated my 30th birthday here with friends and had an amazing time. You were all very welcoming friendly and made it a fun stay. The cabins were lovely and homely and ideal for family and friends. Activities were very fun and made the stay action packed. I couldn’t have asked for a better place to celebrate my birthday. And the sheep will definitely be missed! Hopefully will return in the future! Thank you again 🙂
We have just come back from an amazing day at Wall Eden Adventure. The day started with a trip down the River Brue on a canoe, we saw lots of wildlife it was really good fun. At lunchtime we bought some food from the shop, it was well stocked with local produce. The sweet and salted popcorn was very nice! We had our picnic sat on one of the benches around the fishing pond, lovely views.
Benjy then gave us a lesson in rifle shooting, he was very friendly and helpful. There were lots of targets to shoot, we really enjoyed the windmill target. Then we played table tennis and pool. To finish our fun packed day, David gave us an Archery lesson. He was so informative, an excellent teacher. The archery games were really fun! I cannot recommend Wall Eden Adventure enough, we will be back again. Thank you David and team for a fab day.
Took my two lads there 11 and 12 – rainy day but did indoor air rifle and some archery. All staff from reception to coach very friendly and professional. Great set up and highly recommended fun day out away from the screens and iPads! Special mention to Ben the excellent coach and supervisor – brilliant with the kids – get him to show you some axe throwing!
